Do Shaker cabinets come in stock or only semi-custom?
Both. Shaker runs through the manufacturer lines we order from, in painted whites and grays, stained woods, and darker finishes. You get the finish range without paying for custom doors or waiting on custom lead times.
What makes a cabinet door Shaker style?
Five pieces: two vertical stiles, two horizontal rails, and a flat center panel recessed inside them. No arch, no applied moulding, no shaped edge. The detail comes from the frame itself, which is why the same door works in an older house and a new one.
Is Shaker going out of style?
