We put off redoing the kitchen for two years because we couldn't picture it. VZO measured everything, came back about a week later with a 3D layout, and it was exactly the thing we couldn't describe ourselves. Demo and install took two days and they hauled the old cabinets off with them.

Had them do the primary bath and the guest bath. The measuring visit turned up a plumbing issue that would have thrown the vanity off, and they reworked the layout before anything was ordered. Each bathroom took a day. The soft-close drawers are a nice touch we didn't ask for.

Our walk-in had one rod and a wire shelf, so most of the space was doing nothing. They laid out drawers, double hanging, and shoe shelving, and did the pantry on the same visit. Quick install, and they cleaned up everything on the way out.

Flat Panel Cabinets
One Flat Front, No Frame and No Profile
A slab door is a single flat panel with no frame and no shaped edge, so the whole front sits on one plane. VZO Cabinetry installs flat panel stock and semi-custom cabinetry across North Carolina. We measure on site, show you a 3D rendering, and install the run in a day or two.

The Easiest Doors to Wipe Down: No recessed panel and no corners for grease or dust to settle into. A flat front cleans in one pass.
Soft-Close Doors and Drawers: Included on every slab door and drawer front we install, not priced as an upgrade.
The Finish Carries the Look: With no frame detail, the panel itself does the work, so finish choice matters more here than on other doors.

The Most Modern Door We Install
Flat panel is the simplest door profile made, which is why it lands squarely in modern and contemporary rooms. If the rest of your home leans traditional, a slab front can read out of place, so we walk through that with you before ordering.
Insured, With Warranty Behind It
VZO Cabinetry has been installing cabinetry across North Carolina for eight years and is insured. Our installation work carries a 1-year craftsmanship warranty, and the cabinets carry a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

FAQ's
Frequently Asked
Questions
We've provided answers to many of our most frequently asked questions. Have a different question for our team? We're happy to help! Just send us an email at sales@vzocabinetry.com.
Will flat panel cabinets look out of place in an older home?
They can. Slab is the most modern profile we install, and in a house with detailed trim and moulding it can read as a mismatch. We'll show you the run in a 3D rendering against your actual room before you decide.
What's the difference between a slab door and a Shaker door?
A slab door is one flat panel with square edges. A Shaker door is five pieces with a recessed center panel inside a frame. Slab has no frame line at all, which is why a long run reads as one continuous surface.
Are flat panel cabinets easier to clean?
Generally yes. There's no recessed panel and no corner for grease or dust to settle into, so the front wipes down in one pass. That's a real difference in a room where cooking happens every day.
